P.S. I didn't mention that I was not eventually allowed inside the embassy because, according to the embassy reception, I didn't have an appointment that day. (I did!)

Bastards

Hey..
Now you're blogging in Arabic??
Anyhoo,
You should consider yourself lucky, you got IN the embassy in the end now, didn't you? -regardless if you got the Visa yet or not =p-

FoOf,

I still blog in English..I just felt like getting it off my chest in Arabic this time.

Nope..I wasn't lucky at all. Check the note I added to the post.

lol, not fair to add that :P
s ur not lucky at all, I change my mind!

Too bad I can't read Arabic...

Anon,

Sorry about that. Do I know you btw?

no..you don't know me..I'm from the USA. I enjoy reading your blog...hope you don't mind sis from the usa :)

Anon, not at all..glad u come by :)

Abdullah, funny you should mention that. I had an appointment there last Monday as well.. it went smoothly (say mashallah :P), especially since it was just me, my dad and my baby brother. I'm female, my dad is shayben ga'9y and my baby brother's well.. just that. Anyway I saw how it was for guys your age.. all I can say is Allah yajerkum :-|

ps: so you noticed the great number of mitjanseen too? I'm not prejudiced or anything but, seriously, what's up with that?

Farooha,

I still have updates regarding that appointment, will share soon.

And yeah,too many mitjanseen..madri min wain 6al3een..(Rhymes!)

you ever gonna write another post?? sis from the usa

sis from the usa,

aww, ur waiting for a new post. I'm touched :D

Yeah..v soon :)

How long did it take you to get an appointment for the interview?
I got accepted at a university in NY for Masters but i don't feel like going through the hassle of getting the VISA

any advice?

White Witch,

Sorry for my late reply, I only saw your comment today. Well, with me, there was a 3 month delay to get the appointment (I e-mailed them in Jan and was given an appointment in Apr). If I were you, I'd e-mail or fax them now and just wait for'em to call to have the appointment. It's a hassle but it's a must I'm afraid. Do it now before il za7ma, the MOHE re-opens its scholarships program in Aug.
